On the City of Wylie Municipal Complex, our team delivered millwork, wall paneling, specialty shapes and custom pieces dreamed up by the design professionals, from the patterned dais to intricate inlaid wall panels.

What is architectural millwork?
Architectural millwork is custom-made interior woodwork — wall paneling, trim, standing and running millwork, and specialty pieces — produced to an architect's drawings for a specific building, rather than mass-produced stock material.
Do you pre-finish millwork?
Yes. Lutz Woodworks produces custom mill packages including pre-finishing, so millwork arrives on site consistent in color and ready to install.
Can you build custom shapes and one-off pieces?
Yes. On the City of Wylie Municipal Complex we delivered specialty shapes and custom pieces conceived by the design team, including a patterned dais, a city seal and intricate inlaid wall panels.
Can you supply FSC-certified wood?
Lutz Woodworks is certified to Forest Stewardship Council® standards (FSC-C106839), supporting projects that call for certified wood products.
What's the difference between casework and millwork?
Casework is cabinetry — boxes, doors, drawers and counters. Millwork is the architectural woodwork around it — paneling, trim and custom pieces. Lutz Woodworks fabricates and installs both, which simplifies coordination on projects that need each.
